온유한 마음을 위해 기도하십시오
Pray For A Receptive Heart
“그러므로 모든 더러운 것과 넘치는 악을 내버리고 너희 영혼을 능히 구원할 바 마음에 심어진 말씀을 온유함으로 받으라”(약 1:21)
다른 사람에게 하나님의 말씀을 전할 때 성령님이 그들의 마음에 역사하시지 않으면, 당신이 어떤 말을 하더라도 아무 일도 일어나지 않을 것입니다. 하나님의 영이 그들의 마음에 역사하지 않으면, 당신의 설교나 가르침은 효과가 없을 것입니다. 그러므로 기도는 매우 중요합니다.
이러한 맥락에서 당신이 다른 사람을 위해 기도할 때, 이 기도는 당신이 아니라 듣는 사람을 위한 기도입니다. 주님께서 그들에게 온유한 마음을 주시고, 그들의 마음을 어둡게 하는 어둠이 사라지고, 그들을 속박하는 악의 세력이 깨지도록 기도하는 것입니다.
사도 바울의 말을 기억하십시오. “내 말과 내 전도함이 설득력 있는 지혜의 말로 하지 아니하고 다만 성령의 나타나심과 능력으로 하여 너희 믿음이 사람의 지혜에 있지 아니하고 다만 하나님의 능력에 있게 하려 하였노라.”(고전 2:4-5) 그래서 저는 다음과 같이 기도하는 법을 배웠습니다. “주 예수 이름으로, 이 사람의 눈을 가리고 마음을 가리며 말씀을 보고 이해하는 것을 방해하는 너 어둠의 악한 영을 저지한다. 나는 이 사람의 심령과 마음으로부터 너의 영향력을 끊어낸다.”
이렇게 기도하기 시작하자 놀라운 결과들을 보게 되었습니다. 성령님은 사람들의 마음을 열어 어떠한 방해도 없이 하나님의 말씀의 진리와 가르침을 받아들이게 하셨습니다. 그들을 만나기 전에 어떤 완고함이나 저항이 있더라도 그것들은 녹아 없어질 것입니다. 그리고 그들 안에서는 영적인 일에 대한 깊은 갈망과 갈증이 일어날 것입니다. 하나님을 찬양합니다!
하나님의 말씀을 전하는 자들을 위해 항상 간절히 기도하십시오. 당신이 기도할 때, 말씀의 변화시키는 능력, 곧 확신과 깨달음과 주님과의 친밀한 관계에 대한 갈망을 일으키는 능력이 그들의 마음에 불을 붙일 것입니다. 아멘.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 내가 복음을 전하는 사람들이 그들의 심령에 당신의 말씀을 받기를 기도합니다. 당신의 지혜가 살아 움직이며 그들의 마음을 가득 채울 것입니다. 그들은 지혜와 지식과 명철의 길을 걸으며, 계시를 받고, 새롭게 되고, 지식을 얻고, 강건하게 되어 그리스도 안에서 자신의 목적을 성취할 것입니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

PRAY FOR A RECEPTIVE HEART
"Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls"(James 1:21).
When you share God’s Word with others, no matter what you say, it may not work unless the Holy Spirit ministers to their hearts. You may preach and teach, but if the Spirit of God isn’t ministering to their hearts, it's not going to be effective; that's the reason why prayer is crucial.
When you pray for others in this context, it's not about you, but your hearers; that the Lord will give them a receptive heart, and that the darkness that blinds their hearts are dispelled and the power of evil holding them in bondage is broken.
Remember the words of Paul the apostle: “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God” (1 Corinthians 2:4-5). As a result, I learnt to pray, saying, “In the Name of the Lord Jesus, you evil spirit of darkness that has blinded and put a mist in the heart of so-and-so to stop him from seeing and understanding the Word; I break your influence on his heart and mind.”
When I started doing this, I got amazing results; the Holy Spirit opened their hearts to receive the truths and teachings of the Word of God without distractions. If there was any hardness or resistance prior to meeting them, it would melt away, and in them, a deep hunger and thirst for the spiritual would be awakened. Praise God!
Always pray earnestly for those to whom and with whom you share the Word of God. When you do, the transformative power of the Word that brings conviction, understanding, and a desire for a closer relationship with the Lord will be kindled within their hearts. Amen.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I pray that the minds of those to whom I preach the Gospel be receptive to your Word as your wisdom leaps out of the message and inundates their hearts; they’ll walk the path of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, being enlightened, refreshed, informed and strengthened to fulfil their purpose in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
