인간 그 이상의 존재
More Than Human
“또 증거는 이것이니 하나님이 우리에게 영생을 주신 것과 이 생명이 그의 아들 안에 있는 그것이니라 아들이 있는 자에게는 생명이 있고 하나님의 아들이 없는 자에게는 생명이 없느니라”(요일 5:11-12)
당신 안에 있는 그리스도는 당신 안에 있는 영원한 생명을 의미합니다. 영원한 생명은 하나님의 생명이자 본성입니다. 오늘의 본문 구절의 시제를 주목해서 보십시오. 하나님이 “우리에게 영생을 주신 것과”라고 말하고 있습니다. 이는 약속이 아니라는 뜻입니다. 하나님은 우리에게 영생을 “주실 예정”이 아니십니다. 당신은 그 생명을 지금 가지고 있습니다. 따라서 요한은 요한일서 5:13에서 다음과 같이 말했습니다. “내가 하나님의 아들의 이름을 믿는 너희에게 이것을 쓰는 것은 너희로 하여금 너희에게 영생이 있음을 알게 하려 함이라”
하나님은 당신이 인간 이상의 존재라는 것을 알기 원하십니다. 당신의 인간 생명은 하나님의 생명과 본성으로 대체되었습니다. 당신 안에 있는 신성한 생명으로 인해 하나님과의 교제와 하나됨이 가능해졌습니다. 당신은 결코 평범한 사람이 아닙니다. 시편 82:6에서 시편 기자가 한 말을 기억하십시오. “내가 말하기를 너희는 신들이며 다 지존자의 아들들이라 하였으나”
이 동일한 진리가 요한복음 10:35에서 예수님에 의해 언급되고 반복됩니다. “하나님의 말씀이 임한 자들을 그분께서 신들이라 하셨으며 또 성경 기록은 깨뜨리지 못할진대”(한글흠정역) 하나님이 우리를 낳으셨으므로 우리는 신입니다. 우리는 말씀의 자녀들입니다. “너희가 거듭난 것은 썩어질 씨로 된 것이 아니요 썩지 아니할 씨로 된 것이니 살아 있고 항상 있는 하나님의 말씀으로 되었느니라”(벧전 1:23) 또한 요한일서 4:17은 말합니다. “주께서 그러하심과 같이 우리도 이 세상에서 그러하니라”
고백
그리스도는 내 안에 사십니다! 나는 그분의 실재, 은혜, 영광, 왕국, 능력, 인격의 형상입니다! 나는 그분의 충만의 나타남입니다. 그분은 나의 완전함 이십니다! 내가 어떤 어려움을 마주하든지 상관없습니다. 내 안에 어려움을 뚫고 나가는 힘, 능력이 역사하고 있습니다. 내가 필요로 하는 모든 것은 내 안에 살고 계신 위대한 분 안에 모두 있습니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

MORE THAN HUMAN
"And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life" (1 John 5:11-12).
Christ in you means eternal life in you. Eternal life is the life and nature of God: the God-life. Notice the tenses in our theme scripture; it says God “has given us eternal life.” It’s not a promise. He’s not “going” to give us eternal life. You have that life NOW. As a result, John says in the 13th verse, “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 John 5:13).
He wants you to know that you’re more than human. Your human life has been supplanted by the life and nature of God. This divine life in you has made fellowship and oneness with God possible. You’re by no means an ordinary person. Recall the words of the psalmist in Psalm 82:6, “I have said, Ye are gods, and all of you are children of the most High.”
The same truth is referenced and reiterated by the Lord Jesus in John 10:35 when He said, “If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken.” We are gods, because God gave birth to us. We’re the offspring of the Word: “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever” (1 Peter 1:23). 1 John 4:17 says, “As He is, so are we in this world.”
CONFESSION
Christ lives in me! I’m the expression of His reality, His grace, glory, Kingdom, power and personality! I’m the expression of His fullness; He is my completeness! It makes no difference what challenges I face in life; there’s a force—an empowerment—at work in me to blaze through the barriers. Everything and anything I could ever need is inside the greater One that lives in me. Glory to God!
