Act Your Faith And Experience The Miraculous
“이와 같이 행함이 없는 믿음은 그 자체가 죽은 것이라”(약 2:17)
사도행전 3:1-16에 등장하는 태어날 때부터 앉은뱅이로 태어나 성전 미문에서 구걸하던 사람을 떠올려봅시다. 주 예수님도 그 성전에 여러 번 계셨음에도 불구하고 그 사람의 상태는 바뀌지 않았습니다.
그런데 어느 날 베드로와 요한이 지나갈 때, 그가 돈을 구걸했습니다. 그러자 베드로가 그를 쳐다보며 “우리를 보라”고 말했습니다. 그 사람은 무엇을 얻을까 하여 관심을 보였습니다. 그리고 나서 베드로는 “은과 금은 내게 없거니와 내게 있는 이것을 네게 주노니 나사렛 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 일어나 걸으라”(행 3:6)고 선포했습니다.
베드로가 그 사람의 오른손을 잡아 그를 일으켜 세웠습니다. 즉시 그 앉은뱅이의 발과 발목에 힘이 생겼습니다. 만일 베드로가 그를 당기려고 했을 때, 그가 저항했다면 어떤 일이 일어났을 지 상상해 보십시오. 아마 그는 기적을 받지 못했을 것입니다. 그 사람의 삶에 기적적인 변화가 일어난 이유는 그가 행동하라는 요청에 응했기 때문입니다. 그는 말씀과 일치하는 행동으로 말씀을 받았습니다.
예를 들어, 번영과 재정에 관한 말씀을 받았을 때 바른 행동으로 이를 뒷받침하는 것이 중요합니다. 행동하지 않는다면 당신의 상황은 바뀌지 않을 수도 있습니다. 고린도후서 8:7은 말합니다. “오직 너희는 믿음과 말과 지식과 모든 간절함과 우리를 사랑하는 이 모든 일에 풍성한 것 같이 이 은혜에도 풍성하게 할지니라” 당신은 이 진리를 묵상할 때 무엇을 합니까?
먼저 말씀은 당신의 상황을 바꾸는 능력을 가지고 있음을 이해하십시오. 말씀은 하나님의 영과 능력을 통해 당신에게 변화를 가져옵니다. 그러므로 우리가 고린도후서 8:7에서 읽은 것처럼 말씀이 당신에게 임할 때, 행동하라는 요청을 인식하고 그에 반응하십시오.
말씀에서 혹은 말씀의 결과로 당신의 영 안에서 인도를 받을 때, 주저하거나 기다리지 마십시오. 그 순간을 포착하여 즉시 반응하십시오. 당신은 믿음으로 행함으로써 스스로를 말씀의 기적적인 축복들을 경험하는 위치에 놓게 됩니다.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 당신의 말씀의 영광과 말씀이 내 영에 뿌리를 내려 내 안에서 의의 열매를 맺을 때 경험하게 되는 변화에 감사드립니다. 나는 당신의 말씀에 반응하고 행동합니다. 그러므로 내 삶에 당신의 영광이 나타나고, 당신의 축복과 풍성한 공급의 충만함을 경험합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

ACT YOUR FAITH AND EXPERIENCE THE MIRACULOUS
"So also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead)" (James 2:17 AMPC).
Let's consider the example of the man in Acts 3:1-16, who was lame from birth and begged for alms at the gate of the temple called, Beautiful. The Lord Jesus Himself had been in that very temple multiple times, yet the man’s condition didn’t change.
But on a certain day, as Peter and John walked by, he begged them for money. Then, the Bible says that Peter looked at him intently and said, "Look on us." Expecting to receive something, the man gave them his attention. Peter then declared, "Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have, give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk."
Peter then took the man by the right hand and lifted him up. Immediately, the lame man’s feet and ankle bones received strength. Imagine if the man had resisted as Peter was trying to yank him up; he probably wouldn’t have received his miracle. The miraculous change in the man’s life occurred because the call to action was answered. He received the Word with corresponding action.
When you receive the Word about your prosperity and finances, for example, it’s important to back it up by the right actions. Without taking action, your situation may remain the same. For example, 2 Corinthians 8:7 (NIV) says, “But just as you excel in everything--in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us--see that you also excel in this grace of giving.” What do you do when you meditate on this truth?
First, understand that the Word has the power to change your situation. The Word brings you transformation through the power and Spirit of God. Therefore, when the Word comes to you like what we read in 2 Corinthian 8:7 above, recognize the call to action that accompanies it and respond.
Whenever you get a prompting from the Word or in your spirit as a result of the Word, don’t hesitate or wait. Seize the moment and respond immediately. By acting in faith, you position yourself to experience the miraculous blessings of the Word.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the glory of your Word and the transformation I experience even now as your Word takes root in my spirit, producing in me fruits of righteousness. I respond and take action on your Word; therefore, your glory is seen in my life, and I experience the fullness of your blessings and abundant provisions, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
