말씀에 집중하십시오
Set Your Focus On The Word
“지금 내가 여러분을 주와 및 그 은혜의 말씀에 부탁하노니 그 말씀이 여러분을 능히 든든히 세우사 거룩하게 하심을 입은 모든 자 가운데 기업이 있게 하시리라”(행 20:32)
성경에서는 말씀으로 자신을 세우라고 말하지 않는다는 것을 알고 계셨습니까? 오히려 말씀이 당신을 세울 것이라고 말씀합니다. 그러므로 당신이 해야 할 일은 말씀을 먹고 소화하는 것입니다. 말씀을 당신 안에 넣어서, 말씀을 말하고 행할 수 있게 하십시오. 성경은 “그리스도의 말씀이 너희 속에 풍성히 거하여…”(골 3:16)라고 말합니다.
말씀은 당신을 세울 뿐만 아니라 당신에게 유업을 줍니다. 어쩌면 당신의 친구는 할아버지로부터 큰 유산을 물려받아 부자가 되었지만, 당신은 조부모로부터 아무것도 받지 못했을 수도 있습니다. 상관없습니다. 그리스도는 당신이 이 세상에서 얻을 수 있는 모든 유업을 대신하고도 그보다 더 뛰어난 분이십니다.
하나님의 상속자이자 그리스도와 함께한 공동 상속자로서 당신은 온 세상을 포함한 하나님의 모든 소유물의 상속자입니다. 시편 24:1은 말합니다. “땅과 거기에 충만한 것과 세계와 그 가운데에 사는 자들은 다 여호와의 것이로다” 또한 학개 2:8은 “은도 내 것이요 금도 내 것이니라 만군의 여호와의 말이니라”고 말합니다.
시편 50:10-12을 읽어보십시오. 주님은 다음과 같이 말씀하십니다. “이는 삼림의 짐승들과 뭇 산의 가축이 다 내 것이며 산의 모든 새들도 내가 아는 것이며 들의 짐승도 내 것임이로다 내가 가령 주려도 네게 이르지 아니할 것은 세계와 거기에 충만한 것이 내 것임이로다” 이 구절은 그리스도 안에 있는 당신의 유업에 대해 알려줍니다.
당신은 거듭났을 때 그리스도 예수 안에서 유업을 받았습니다. 당신은 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 받았습니다. 그러나 사탄은 당신을 속여 하나님의 최고를 빼앗으려고 할 것입니다. 그러나 굳건히 서서 하나님의 말씀에 집중하십시오. 자주 “나는 하나님이 말씀하신 그대로의 존재이다. 나는 하나님이 내가 소유한다고 말씀하신 것들을 가지고 있다. 온 세상은 내 것이다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다.”라고 선포하십시오.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 당신의 말씀은 나의 인도자요, 힘이요, 유업입니다. 나는 내 삶의 모든 영역에서 성장하고 번영합니다. 나는 말씀으로 세워지고 강해집니다. 내 삶에 말씀의 능력과 영광이 임하게 하시니 감사합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

SET YOUR FOCUS ON THE WORD
“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified” (Acts 20:32).
Did you notice that the Bible doesn’t tell you to build yourself with the Word; it says the Word will build you. So, all you have to do is digest the Word. Have it inside you, so that you can talk it and live it. The Bible says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly…” (Colossians 3:16).
Not only is the Word able to build you up, it’s able to give you an inheritance. Maybe your friend got a large inheritance from his grandfather that made him rich, but you didn’t quite get anything from yours. It makes no difference. Your inheritance in Christ supersedes and outclasses any inheritance you could ever get in this world.
As an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ, you’re the inheritor of everything God owns, which includes the whole world. Psalm 24:1 says, “The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” In Haggai 2:8, He said, “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.”
Also, read Psalm 50:10-12; the Lord said, “For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine…for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.” This should give you an idea of your inheritance in Christ.
The inheritance was given to you in Christ Jesus the moment you were born again. You were given all things that pertain to life and godliness. But Satan, being a rebel, may try to cheat you out of God’s best. But stand your ground and keep your focus on the Word of God. Every so often, you declare, “I’m what God says I am, and I have what God says I have. The whole world is mine. Glory to God.”
PRAYER
Dear Father, your Word is my guide, my strength, and my inheritance. I grow and flourish in every area of my life; I’m built up and strengthened by the Word. Thank you for the power and glory of your Word in my life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
