Your Prosperous Life In Christ

 

“그리고 하나님께서는 모든 은혜(모든 은총과 세상의 축복)를 너희에게 넘치게 하여 너희가 언제나, 어떤 상황에서나, 어떤 필요에도 자족하게 [모든 선한 일과 구제를 하기에 어떤 도움이나 지원이 필요하지 않을 정도로 넉넉히 소유하게] 하실 수 있습니다.”(고후 9:8, 확대번역본)

 

하나님의 계획은 그분의 자녀들이 풍성한 공급을 받는 것입니다. 성경 그 어디를 찾아봐도 가난, 결핍, 궁핍이 하나님의 뜻일 수도 있다는 말을 볼 수 없습니다. 성경은 그런 내용을 암시조차 하지 않습니다. 마귀조차도 하나님께서 욥을 부자로 만드시고 많은 재물로 축복하셨다고 비난했음을 기억하십시오(욥 1:9-10).

당신은 자신의 재정적 혹은 물질적 번영이 하나님께 중요하다는 실재를 받아들여야 합니다. 하나님은 요한삼서 1:2에서 다음과 같이 말씀하셨습니다. “사랑하는 자여 네 영혼이 잘됨 같이 네가 범사에 잘되고 강건하기를 내가 간구하노라” 이 구절에 대해 생각해 보십시오!

그리고 욥기 22:24-25은 말합니다. “네 보화를 티끌로 여기고… 네게 고귀한 은이 되시리니” 만약 식탁 위에 있는 먼지를 깨끗이 닦아 본 적이 있다면, 얼마 지나지 않아 또 먼지가 쌓이는 것을 봤을 것입니다. 이는 하나님의 백성이 경험하도록 부름 받은 번영, 즉 끝이 없고 풍성한 공급을 보여줍니다.

이는 시편 23:1-2에 나오는 다윗의 말을 생각나게 합니다. “여호와는 나의 목자시니 내게 부족함이 없으리로다 그가 나를 푸른 풀밭에 누이시며…” 이렇게 생각해야 합니다. 당신은 끝없는 공급에 연결되어 있습니다. 이것은 당신이 어떤 국가에 살고 있는 지와 상관이 없습니다. 당신은 그리스도 예수 안에서 이런 삶으로 부름 받았습니다.

오늘의 본문 구절에서 읽은 내용을 다시 생각해 보십시오. 하나님은 당신이 결핍을 인식하기 원치 않으십니다. 당신은 하나님의 상속자이며 그리스도와 함께 한 공동 상속자입니다(롬 8:17). 고린도전서 3:21은 말합니다. “만물이 다 너희 것임이라” 하늘에 계신 당신의 아버지는 온 세상을 소유하시고 이를 당신에게 주셨습니다. 당신이 아브라함의 자손이기 때문입니다. “너희가 그리스도의 것이면 곧 아브라함의 자손이요 약속대로 유업을 이을 자니라”(갈 3:29)

그리스도 안에서 즐겁고 번영하는 삶을 선택하십시오. 당신의 직장이나 사업을 생계의 원천으로 여기지 말고, 다른 사람들을 축복하는 도구로 여기십시오. 그리스도 안에서 당신은 풍성한 삶으로 들어왔습니다. 당신의 유업을 인식하고 누르십시오.

 

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 아버지는 은혜롭고 친절하십니다. 나를 그리스도와 함께 한 공동 상속자로 삼아주셔서 감사합니다. 세상은 내 것입니다. 나는 그리스도 안에서 즐겁고 번영하는 삶을 살기로 선택합니다. 만물이 내 것이고, 모든 좋은 것은 내게 주어졌기 때문입니다. 나는 풍성함의 영역에 살고 있으며, 내 삶은 아버지의 사랑과 은혜의 표현입니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

YOUR PROSPEROUS LIFE IN CHRIST

 

"And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]"(2 Corinthians 9:8 AMPC).

 

God’s plan is for His children to have abundant supply. I’ve searched the Scriptures and I find no place where it gives us the idea that poverty, lack and want might be God’s will; there isn’t even a suggestion of that in the Bible. Recall that even the devil blamed God for making Job rich, and blessing him with great substance (Job 1:9-10).

You have to embrace the reality that your financial or material prosperity is important to God. He said in 3 John 1:2, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” Think about that!

Then Job 22:24-25 says, “Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust…and thou shalt have plenty of sliver.” If you ever wiped a table clean of dust, you’d observe that after a while, dust settled again on the surface. It paints a picture of the kind of prosperity God’s people are called to experience—unending and abundant supply.

It brings to mind the words of David in Psalm 23:1-2, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures….” That’s the way to think. You’re plugged into an unending supply. This has nothing to do with the country where you live; it’s the life you’ve been called to in Christ Jesus.

Recall again what we read in our opening scripture. God doesn’t want you conscious of need. You’re an heir of God, and a joint-heir with Christ (Romans 8:17). 1 Corinthians 3:21 says, “…all things are yours….” Your heavenly Father owns the whole world and has willed it to you because you’re Abraham’s seed: “And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29).

Choose the joyful, prosperous life in Christ. Don’t see your job or business as your source of livelihood, but as a medium to bless others. In Christ, you’ve been brought into the life of superabundance; acknowledge and enjoy your inheritance.

 

PRAYER

Dear Father, you’re gracious and kind. I thank you for making me a joint-heir with Christ; the world belongs to me. I choose to live the joyful, prosperous life in Christ, for all things are mine, and nothing good is withheld from me. I dwell in the realm of superabundance and my life is a manifestation of your love and grace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
