Overturn Their Darkness
“만일 우리의 복음이 가리었으면 망하는 자들에게 가리어진 것이라 그 중에 이 세상의 신이 믿지 아니하는 자들의 마음을 혼미하게 하여 그리스도의 영광의 복음의 광채가 비치지 못하게 함이니 그리스도는 하나님의 형상이니라”(고후 4:3-4)
방금 읽은 오늘의 본문 구절의 내용을 주목해 보십시오. 이 세상의 신, 사탄은 복음을 믿지 않는 사람들의 마음을 혼미케 했습니다. 무슨 목적을 위해 그렇게 했습니까? 그리스도의 “영광스러운 복음”의 광채가 그들에게 비치지 못하게 하기 위해서 입니다. 그러나 사탄은 패배했습니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!
예수 이름의 능력으로 우리는 사람들의 삶에 대한 사탄의 지배와 영향력을 무너뜨릴 수 있으며, 그리스도의 영광스러운 복음의 빛을 비출 수 있습니다. 우리는 그들의 눈먼 상태에 변화를 일으킵니다. 할렐루야!
사도행전 26:16-18을 말합니다. “… 내가 네게 나타난 것은 곧 네가 나를 본 일과 장차 내가 네게 나타날 일에 너로 종과 증인을 삼으려 함이니 이스라엘과 이방인들에게서 내가 너를 구원하여 그들에게 보내어 그 눈을 뜨게 하여 어둠에서 빛으로, 사탄의 권세에서 하나님께로 돌아오게 하고 죄 사함과 나를 믿어 거룩하게 된 무리 가운데서 기업을 얻게 하리라 하더이다” 얼마나 멋진 사역입니까! 얼마나 대단한 부르심입니까! 우리는 “눈을 뜨게 하여 어둠에서 빛으로, 사탄의 권세에서 하나님께로 돌아오게” 하기 위해 보냄 받았습니다.
사단이 그들의 눈을 가렸지만, 당신의 목적은 그들의 어둠을 무너뜨리는 것입니다. 당신에게는 예수 그리스도의 복음으로 그들의 눈을 뜨게 할 권세가 있습니다. 그것은 모든 믿는 자에게 구원을 주시는 하나님의 능력입니다(롬 1:16).
주님을 모르는 사람들에게 복음을 전하면 그들의 눈이 열리게 됩니다. 그래서 당신이 지금 그 도시에, 동네에, 나라에 있는 것입니다. 복음을 전해서 사람들을 어둠에서 빛으로, 사탄의 권세에서 하나님께로 돌아오게 하기 위함입니다. 할렐루야!
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 우리가 믿지 않는 사람들의 마음을 혼미케 하는 어둠을 무너뜨리는 권세와 영광을 예수 이름을 통해 가지고 있다는 계시로 인해 감사드립니다. 오늘날 복음이 전세계에 전파됨에 따라 많은 사람들이 어둠에서 빛으로, 사탄의 권세에서 하나님께로 돌아옵니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

OVERTURN THEIR DARKNESS
"But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them"(2 Corinthians 4:3-4).
Notice what we just read: Satan, the god of this world, blinded the minds of those who don’t believe the Gospel; for what purpose? So that the light of the “glorious Gospel” of Christ should not shine unto them. But he’s been defeated. Glory to God!
Through the power of the Name of Jesus, we’re able to break Satan’s hold and influence over people’s lives and cause the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ to shine unto them. We overturn their blindness. Hallelujah!
The Bible says in Acts 26:16-18, “…for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness…Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God.” What a ministry; what a calling! We’re sent “…To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God.”
Satan blinded them, but your purpose is to overturn their darkness. You have the power to open their eyes through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the power of God unto salvation to all who believe (Romans 1:16).
When you share the Gospel with those who haven’t known the Lord, their eyes are opened. That's why you’re in that city, that's why you’re in that town, that's why you’re in that country—to preach the Gospel and turn men from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the revelation that through the Name of Jesus, we have the authority and ability to overturn the darkness that blinds the minds of those who do not believe. Today, as the Gospel is preached around the world, many are turned from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
