Be Spiritually Minded And Alert

 

“육신의 생각은 사망이요 영의 생각은 생명과 평안이니라”(롬 8:6)

 

그리스도인으로서 우리는 영적으로 생각하고 항상 깨어 있어야 합니다. 우리는 하나님의 군대의 군인으로서 영적 싸움을 하고 있기 때문입니다. 에베소서 6:12-13은 말합니다. “우리의 씨름은 혈과 육을 상대하는 것이 아니요 통치자들과 권세들과 이 어둠의 세상 주관자들과 하늘에 있는 악의 영들을 상대함이라…”

그리고 나서 고린도후서 10:4은 이 계속되는 전쟁에서 우리가 사용하는 무기에 대해 말합니다. “우리의 싸우는 무기는 육신에 속한 것이 아니요 오직 어떤 견고한 진도 무너뜨리는 하나님의 능력이라 모든 이론을 무너뜨리며” 전쟁은 항상 진행 중이지만 각 전투가 언제 일어날지 정확히는 알 수 없습니다. 그러나 하나님은 우리가 항상 준비되어 있기를 원하십니다. 그분은 우리에게 “악한 날”(엡 6:13)에 대해 말씀해 주십니다.

“악한 날”은 전투의 날들을 의미합니다. 전투는 전쟁에서의 실제 싸움입니다. 따라서 우리는 반드시 영적인 사고방식을 가지고, 성령님께 민감한 상태를 유지하여 그분의 신호에 맞춰 전투에 준비되어 있어야 합니다. 우리에게는 대적, 곧 사탄이 있고, 그는 잠들지 않습니다.

베드로전서 5:8-9은 말합니다. “근신하라 깨어라 너희 대적 마귀가 우는 사자 같이 두루 다니며 삼킬 자를 찾나니 너희는 믿음을 굳건하게 하여 그를 대적하라…” 또한 에베소서 6:10-11은 말합니다. “… 주 안에서와 그 힘의 능력으로 강건하여지고 마귀의 간계를 능히 대적하기 위하여 하나님의 전신 갑주를 입으라”

당신은 정사와 권세와 이 세상의 어둠의 주관자들과 하늘에 있는 악의 영들에 대한 통치권과 권세를 가지고 있습니다. 에베소서 6:14-18에 나와있는 영적 무기들을 사용하여 사탄의 계략과 간계를 파하고, 모든 악한 일들을 무너뜨리십시오. 할렐루야!

 

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 내 마음과 애정은 주님과 그리스도에 관한 일들, 그리스도의 복음과 영원한 왕국에 고정되어 있습니다. 나는 말씀 안에 살고 내가 속한 영적인 왕국에 대한 충만한 의식 가운데 삽니다. 나는 말씀으로 인도되며, 사탄과 흑암의 권세에 대한 나의 통치권을 유지합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

BE SPIRITUALLY MINDED AND ALERT

 

"For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace"(Romans 8:6).

 

As Christians, we must be spiritually minded and alert at all times because we’re soldiers in God’s army, engaged in spiritual warfare. Ephesians 6:12-13 says, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places….”

Then 2 Corinthians 10:4 tells us about our weapons in this ongoing warfare: “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.” Although the war is always on, we’re not told exactly when each battle will occur, but God wants us prepared all the time. He tells us about the "evil day" (Ephesians 6:13).

The “evil day” signifies battle days. A battle is the actual fight of a war. Hence, we must be battle-ready by being spiritually minded, being acutely sensitive to the Spirit and attuned to His signals. We have an adversary that we’re up against—Satan. He doesn’t just go to sleep.

1 Peter 5:8-9 says, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. Whom resist stedfast in the faith….” Ephesians 6:10-11 says, “…be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”

You have dominion and authority over principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Use the spiritual weapons listed in Ephesians 6:14-18 to frustrate their stratagems and wiles, and foil all their evil works. Hallelujah!

 

PRAYER

Dear Father, my mind and affections are set on the Lord and things pertaining to Christ, His Gospel, and eternal Kingdom. I live in the Word and walk in the full consciousness of the spiritual Kingdom to which I belong. I’m guided by the Word, and I maintain my dominion over Satan and the principalities of the darkness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
