We Reign With Words
“여호와께서 내 주에게 말씀하시기를 내가 네 원수들로 네 발판이 되게 하기까지 너는 내 오른쪽에 앉아 있으라 하셨도다 여호와께서 시온에서부터 주의 권능의 규를 내보내시리니 주는 원수들 중에서 다스리소서…”(시 110:1-4)
오늘의 본문 구절에서 “다스리다”로 번역된 히브리어 “라다(radah)”는 “통치하다”와 동의어입니다. 다스린다는 것은 통치권과 왕적 권위를 행사한다는 뜻입니다. 우리가 방금 읽은 내용은 천국에 계신 예수님, 우리의 대제사장에 관한 내용입니다.
이 부분은 예수님의 권세에 대한 놀라운 사실들을 설명해줍니다. 예를 들어, “주의 권능의 규”는 그분의 능력의 지팡이를 의미합니다. 이는 시편 45:3-6에서 읽을 수 있는 내용과 유사합니다. “… 하나님이여 주의 보좌는 영원하며 주의 나라의 규는 공평한 규이니이다”
히브리서 1:8도 예수님에 관한 동일한 진리를 밝힙니다. “아들에 관하여는 하나님이여 주의 보좌는 영영하며 주의 나라의 규는 공평한 규이니이다” 이 구절은 그분께서 보좌에 앉으신 때에 대해 밝혀줍니다. 이것이 그리스도 안에서 새로운 피조물인 우리에게는 어떻게 적용됩니까? 요한계시록 5:10은 말합니다. “그들로 우리 하나님 앞에서 나라와 제사장들을 삼으셨으니 그들이 땅에서 왕 노릇 하리로다 하더라”
왕은 어떤 방식으로 그의 나라를 다스립니까? 자신이 하는 말로 다스립니다. 창세기 1장에 나오는 창조에 관한 이야기가 이를 확증합니다. 하나님은 그분의 창조물이 실제로 존재하도록 말씀하셨습니다. 그분은 선포된 그분의 말씀으로 말미암아 모든 것을 성취하셨습니다. 그분은 단지 말씀하셨고, 모든 것들이 존재하게 되었습니다.
예수님은 이 땅에 계실 때 말씀하셨습니다. 그분은 말씀으로 사람들의 삶을 변화시키시고 기적을 행하셨습니다. 예수님이 죽은 몸들에 말씀하시면 그들이 다시 살아났습니다. 그분의 말씀은 생명을 전달하고 부여하셨습니다. 그리고 우리는 예수님과 같습니다. 우리의 말은 동일한 일을 합니다. 주께서 그러하심과 같이 우리도 이 세상에서 그러하기 때문입니다(요일 4:17).
말로 다스리십시오. 말로 당신의 신성한 권세를 행사하며 대적들 가운데 다스리십시오.
고백
나는 나의 다스리는 위치를 차지하고, 예수 이름 안에서 말로 상황들을 다스립니다. 내가 말하는 말은 성령님의 열매 맺는 능력으로 가득 차 있습니다. 나는 열방에 평안, 번영, 건강, 온전함을 말하며, 복음의 빛이 어두운 곳에 구원이 속히 전파될 것을 선포합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

WE REIGN WITH WORDS
"The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion. Rule thou in the midst of thine enemies…"(Psalm 110:1-4).
The Hebrew word translated "rule" in the opening scripture is "Radah," which is essentially synonymous with "reign." To rule means to exercise dominion and kingly authority. What we read in our opening verses is about Jesus in heaven at the time in which He is the High Priest.
That portion unveils some amazing descriptions of His authority. For example, the phrase "the rod of thy strength" essentially means the sceptre of His power. It's akin to what we have in Psalm 45:3-6 (NIV): "Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom."
Hebrews 1:8 also allude to the same truth concerning Jesus. It says, "But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever. A sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom." This unfolds while He is seated on the throne. How does this apply to us, the new creation in Christ? Revelation 5:10 reveals it. It says, “And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”
How do kings reign? Kings reign with words. The creation story in Genesis chapter one confirms this. God spoke creation into existence. He accomplished everything through the spoken Word. He simply spoke, and things came into existence.
When Jesus walked the earth, He spoke words. He transformed lives and performed miracles with words. When He spoke to corpses, they came back to life. His words transmitted and imparted life. And we’re just like Him. Our words do the same, because as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17).
Reign with words. Rule in the midst of your enemies by exercising your divine authority through words.
CONFESSION
I take my place of dominion, and reign in the Name of Jesus over circumstances through words. The words that I speak are potent, laden with the Spirit’s power to produce fruits. I speak peace, prosperity, wellness and wholeness into the nations of the world, and declare that salvation spreads quickly into places where the light of the Gospel has been dim, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
