Habitation Of Blessings
And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the
press, and said, Who touched my clothes? (Mark 5:30).
One of the beautiful truths about you as a new creation is the fact that you’re a habitation of blessings, a conveyor and distributor of eternal
verities. 1 Corinthians 3:16 says, “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit
of God dwelleth in you?”
The Christian is the house of God, the very temple and holy sanctuary of God. God has chosen to
live in you, and thus, bless the world—bring salvation, healing, prosperity, deliverance and help
to the world through you. Remember what the Lord said to Abraham, “…I will bless thee, and make thy
name great; and thou shalt be a blessing” (Genesis 12:2); and He really did bless Abraham.
Paul revealed in Galatians 3:16 that the promised blessing wasn’t to Abraham alone but to Abraham
and his seed: “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, and to seeds, as
of many; but as of one, and to thy seed, which is Christ.” That seed is Christ. Galatians 3:29
says, “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
Everywhere you go, you carry blessings with you. When you show up, blessings arrive. Whether or not
the people realise it doesn’t change the fact that you’re the conveyor of divine blessings. Anybody
can receive something from God by touching you. For example, if a sick person, upon realising that
you’re born again and have the Holy Spirit, decides to touch you, he or she could be healed without
even asking you anything.
If someone who’s dying of cancer, diabetes or any other infirmity only knew that he doesn’t need to
cry or beg God for a miracle! If he’d touch a Christian by faith, he’d receive the much needed
healing.
Remember, even without the Master’s consent, a certain woman, who had an issue of blood for twelve
years, came in the crowd behind Jesus, touched His clothes and her bleeding stopped at once. We
carry that same power and blessing in and with us today, because the Holy Spirit lives in us.
Confession
I’m the seed of Abraham, and therefore, a distributor of divine blessings. Salvation, righteousness, prosperity, healing,
God’s goodness, mercies and grace flow through me to bless my world! I bring succour, hope,
deliverance, and joy to many, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
