Think…Talk…And Act The Word
And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to
the word of his grace, which is able to build you up,
and to give you an inheritance among all them which
are sanctified (Acts 20:32).
Being born again, you were born by the
incorruptible Word of God. The Bible says,
“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of
incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and
abideth for ever” (1 Peter 1:23). So, you ought to learn
how to use the Word of God. Learn to think, talk, and
act as though the Word of God is true, because it is.
Jesus said, “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word
is truth” (John 17:17).
If you don’t think, talk and act as though the
Word is true, what you’d have will be mere religion,
and there’s no life in religion. The Bible says, “Having
a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof:
from such turn away... Ever learning, and never able
to come to the knowledge of the truth” (2 Timothy
3:5-7). You can bet your life on the Word; its integrity
is unquestionable. The Word never fails, because it’s
a spiritual law. Jesus said, “Heaven and earth shall
pass away: but my words shall not pass away” (Mark 13:31).
Many years ago, I challenged myself to believe,
talk and live the Word. The reason was simple: It’s not
possible for someone to believe the Word of God and
remain the same. I made up my mind to go for the
Word, and live in the Word, and the result has been a
life in one direction only: upward and forward; a life of
constant victories and glory through the Word!
1 Timothy 4:15 says, “Meditate upon these
things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting
may appear to all.” This means that your progress,
advancement, and prosperity will appear unto all as
you yield to the Word. As you live-out the Word; as
you think, talk, and act the Word, your success will
spread abroad and become widely and openly known.
Everyone will see that you’re making tremendous
progress in every area of your life. It’s the ministry of
the Word to make this happen for you.
Prayer
Your Word, dear Father, is my daily meditation. In it, I have
peace, security, wealth, health, and all the good things of life.
Your Word in my spirit gives me the right mindset. My victory is
assured because your Word is on my lips; and nothing is impossible
to me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
