Triumphant All The Way
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth
us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the
savour of his knowledge by us in every place
(2 Corinthians 2:14).
1 John 4:4 says, “Ye are of God, little children,
and have overcome them: because greater
is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”
Then Paul, by the Spirit, in a most poetic and inspiring
manner submitted in Romans 8:35-37, “Who shall
separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation,
or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness,
or peril, or sword?....Nay, in all these things we are
more than conquerors through him that loved us.”
With this understanding, when you face tests,
trials, and persecutions, when the fierce storms and
pressures of life billow against you, refuse to be moved,
because you’re more than a conqueror. Your testimony
is assured, because you’re a victor in Christ Jesus.
Nothing can overwhelm you, because the greater One
lives in you and He causes you to triumph always, and
in every place.
It doesn’t matter how much news of doom and
gloom is propagated through the media; don’t panic!
The hardship, harsh economic conditions, wickedness,
and terror in the world are not set against you, because
you’re not of this world. You belong to Christ. Christ is
your country. And in Christ, you’re triumphant all the
way! Nothing can hinder or limit your victory, progress,
and success.
Read our opening verse again, this time, from the
Message translation: “And I got it, thank God! In the
Messiah, in Christ, God leads us from place to place
in one perpetual victory parade.” This is your life in
Christ! Your victory, promotion, and prosperity in the
midst of recession, inflation, and economic hardship
is unstoppable. Blessed be God!
Confession
I’m full of the might and ability of the Spirit, who leads me in
a perpetual victory parade. I’m like a tree planted by the waters,
that spreads out her roots by the river. I don’t know when
heat comes. I’m prosperous and triumphant always in Christ
Jesus! Hallelujah!
