A Life Of Excellence
According as his divine power hath given unto
us all things that pertain unto life and godliness,
through the knowledge of him that hath called us
to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3)
God has called you to a life of glory and
excellence. He’s not trying to do it, He’s
already done it. It’s not a promise. “Virtue” in the
scripture above means excellence. God didn’t call us
to shame; He didn’t call us to pain; He didn’t call us to
sickness, reproach, destruction or judgment; He called
us to glory and excellence. Your response, therefore,
should be, “Thank you, blessed Father, I’m excellent
and full of glory! I do excellent things.”
Perhaps you were headed in the direction of
shame, there’s a reprogramming taking place in your
spirit right now. The Word will propel you from shame,
into glory and excellence. Walk in the knowledge of
who you are. Inside you is the power of God, His
divine ability to rise, increase and prosper; to do
excellent things. He has appointed and positioned you
to exude excellence. You no longer have to strive for
excellence.
You have the responsibility to transform your
life from glory to glory; you have the responsibility
to manage your mind to produce excellence. That’s
what the renewing of your mind is about (Romans
12:2). God expects this of you, because He has put
the ability within you. He wants to be glorified through
your progress and success; through the excellence of
your personality.
Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you, for you’ve made my life beautiful,
and made me excellent all the way. You’re glorified in
and through me today, by my progress and success as a result
of your Word at work in me. Thank you for making me the
epitome of your righteousness, and vent for your glory, in Jesus’
Name Amen
