Keeping The Word In Your Consciousness
Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to
them; that thy profiting may appear to all
(1 Timothy 4:15).
Meditating on God’s Word helps to bring the
Word to your consciousness. For example,
Psalm 1:1-3 says, “Blessed is the man that walketh not
in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way
of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But
his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law
doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a
tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth
his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither;
and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Meditating
on the verses above will get you conscious of, and
walk in the light of the blessings therein.
Recall what God said in Joshua 1:8: “This book of
the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou
shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest
observe to do according to all that is written therein:
for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and
then thou shalt have good success.” You can be as
successful as you choose to be. Your life can be one of
infinite possibilities and victories; the key is meditating
on the Word.
Meditating on the Word gives you a fixed mental
attitude of victory and success. It causes you to see
challenges as stepping-stones for your promotion,
and not as obstacles. It causes the Word to mingle
with your spirit, becoming a force that propels you to
positive actions.
Build a consciousness of the Word in your spirit,
and no matter what happens, you’ll always be on
top. Develop the winning attitude and mindset of a
champion through the power of God’s Word.
Prayer
Your Word, dear Lord, is a lamp to my feet, and a light that lightens
my path. As I meditate on your Word today, I’m transformed;
my life gravitates upwards and forwards, with your wisdom,
glory, and excellence radiating through me. I deal wisely in the
affairs of life, because of the consciousness of your Word
in my spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
